Erin Larson and Terah McDonald met in 2009, where they realized they both shared a dream of owning and operating a catering company. Growing up, Terah had learned from her father, who grew organic foods, her appreciation for using the finest ingredients when cooking. When Erin and Terah purchased O'Sheas Catering and Events in the spring of 2011, they knew it was this ideal of fine ingredients and their love of food that would translate to their new clients and employees. Since then, O'Sheas Catering and Events has produced some of its finest menus and most delectable dishes ever, and both Erin and Terah are excited for their bright future in catering and events.

    O'Sheas Catering and Events takes great pride in creating extraordinary menus. Our services range from breakfasts and box lunches to hors d’oeuvres and sit down dinners. We have served the greater Pierce and King counties since 1982. Our reputation for quality products and friendly staff allows us to be one of the top caterers in Tacoma.

    As a full service catering company, O'Sheas Catering and Events arranges all the extras needed to make your event special — including rental items, service staff and certified bartenders.

    O'Sheas Catering and Events found that a personalized approach to planning allows us to create what best represents your idea of the perfect celebration. We want to exceed your expectations.

    Beverages

    We will help you plan the beverage service that meets your particular needs including bottled water, soda, Snapple, coffee, tea, juice and milk. We are not licensed to sell alcohol, however, our bartenders are licensed to serve at your event.

    Cake Cutting

    Our staff is trained to cut and serve your wedding cake at no additional charge.

    Catering Staff

    Our professional staff is available to meet all of your needs. Servers are $25.00 per hour, bartenders are $30.00 per hour and kitchen staff are $30.00 per hour. There is a 18% service charge based on food, beverages, and rentals for staffing.

    Equipment Rental

    We can arrange all of your extras including tables, seating, linens, flatware, tenting, etc. A pickup and delivery fee will be added to the total. Client is accountable for loss or breakage at the event.

    Deposit and Payment Terms

    A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due at proposal acceptance to hold your event date. Fifty percent (50%) of the balance is due thirty (30) days prior to the event and final payment is due seven (7) days prior to the event date. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

    Final Guest Count

    Final guest count is due seven (7) days prior to event date. Due to pre-ordering requirements for your event, no price adjustments can be made for a decrease in guest count within seven (7) days of event date. A 75% cancel/postpone fee applies within four (4) days (inclusive) of event date.

    Travel Charge

    A travel charge applies to event venues outside of our normal service area.
